What's New
- Added design checks for minimum bottom reinforcement (9.2.1.4(1)) and anchorage length (9.2.1.4(2)) at end supports.
- Added a new option to let Design take deflection limits into account, increasing reinforcement until the deflection limits are met.
- The application will now automatically recover from startup crashes by checking for updates before launching.
Improvements
- The 9.3.1.2 support reinforcement check now shows intermediate calculation steps (\(V_{Ed}\), \(F_E\), \(\sigma_{sd}\), \(l_{bd}\)) at end supports.
- Improvements to anchorage length handling during Design — no longer adds more anchorage length than necessary at ends with low reinforcement stress.
- Designing reinforcement now respects deactivated design checks.
- Allow calculation of deflections even when reinforcement is missing, as long as beam is uncracked.
- User preferences (such as national annex) are now saved more reliably.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed incorrect 9.3.1.2 slab check utilization at simply supported ends where reinforcement area was reduced by a bond factor based on full yield anchorage instead of the actual design stress.
- Fixed an issue where opening a corrupt or invalid project file would silently fail without any error message.
